Glozier Boxing was founded by Bruce Glozier, former professional boxer and trainer to some of Auckland’s top fighters and his creditials in the boxing scene speaks for itself. Bruce grew up in a boxing family, his father was a Southland Champion and his uncle a New Zealand Champion, so boxing is in his blood.
Bruce’s passion for boxing creates a training environment that is motivating and addictive. For people keen to take their boxing skills to the next level, there are opportunities to get in the ring and fight in one of many, Glozier Boxing events throughout the year. However, what Bruce does best is promoting. With a long record of success, his corporate shows are always packed, always entertaining, and invariably successful. Since 2009, Bruce has organized and promoted over 70 professional and corporate events, packing out venues such as the AMI Stadium in St Johns, and ASB Stadium in Kohimarama.
In March 2019 Bruce promoted the historic Women’s WBO World title bout at the Skycity Convention centre. This was the first time in NZ history that two New Zealand boxers (whether male or female) challenged one another for a high-profile World title.
Bruce has successfully raised over $45,000 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of NZ following his highly successful ‘Industry Rumble Fight for Life’ events, staged from 2015 to 2018.
