Another history-making event with Glozier
Boxing at the heart of it, the WBO world
title fight between Geovana Peres and
Northland’s Lani Daniels in March 2019
marked the first time two Kiwi boxers had
contested a major world title. After a hugely
entertaining 10 rounds at the SKY City
ballroom, it was Peres who emerged
with the decision and the WBO light
heavyweight title.
