Founded with a mission to open up boxing to audiences by championing the grassroots, Probellum brings together the best fighters for fans around the world.
Throughout history, boxing has been fragmented between rival promoters and platforms resulting in fans and fighters being denied the greatest contests and boxers from smaller countries prevented from having the chance to compete on the biggest stages.
Probellum has been built to disrupt this status quo and ensure a future with the best fights and more opportunities for those underserved markets where boxing is thriving but too often ignored.
The global promotion company officially launched in September 2021 with the belief that collaboration is key and a plan to work with promoters anywhere while creating new opportunities for grassroot boxing.
The business was formed by UK-based businessman Ali Shams Pour.
The former co-owner of Hennessey Sports began his vision to transform the sport by teaming up with legendary boxing promoter Richard Schaefer.
Schaefer, one of the most respected boxing promoters of the last 20 years having promoted some of the biggest names in world boxing including Ricky Hatton, Floyd Mayweather and
Oscar De La Hoya, is Probellum’s President.
Probellum has signed a deal with Glozier Boxing Pormotions granting it the global streaming rights for five co-promoted shows each year for 2022, 2023 and 2024.
